Little Miss Sunshine

Little Miss Sunshine is a story of a very dysfunctional family who embarks on a road trip for the Little Miss Sunshine competition in California. Olive, the youngest of the bunch, qualifies for the competition by default. The whole family ends up having to go on the road trip.

Steve Carell(40 Year Old Virgin) has become one of my favorite actors because of his recent hit TV series The Office. Due to this fact, I was extremely excited to see this. The plot of the movie is obviously not too complicated because the movie is a comedy. However, each character has a very amusing personality which accompanies them. These personalities are new and unique to a comedy movie. This movie was one of the best comedies I have seen in a longggggg time. It really has little of the stupid "Will Ferrell" humor you see so much in comedies these days. This movie just has very funny seens with many amusing character interactions. I cannot really elaborate much more without describing scenes from the movie. Although noone in this movie will receive an oscar for acting, this movie is a crowd pleaser. Everyone in the theater, including me, was laughing out loud for most of the movie. This movie is a must see.
